Zuume (pronounced zoom) is a Lua-based scripting engine for Windows®. It provides a set of extensions to the Lua programming language that allow it to be used for scripting administration tasks on the Windows® operating system.  Zuume includes a graphical interface (GUI), a console interface, a stealth (silent) interface, and a service interface.  The graphical interface can be configured with a progress bar if desired.  The console interface provides the same functionality as the graphical interface and can be configured to use GUI functions for user input.  The service interface can be used to run scripts on remote computers.

The Lua programming language is provided by Lua.org, PUC-Rio (www.lua.org). Zuume currently uses version 5.1.4 of the Lua programming language.
